  • Graduate of Shelby State Community College with an Associate Applied Science Degree in Fire Fighting Technology
  • Attended Memphis School of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Booking (1970 - 1972 )
  • 1993 Completed the "Executive Leadership Program" sponsored by the U.S. Fire Administration and the Natioinal Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland
  • Actively involved in emergency services at the local, state and federal level participating through the International Associations of Fire Chiefs, National Fire Protection Association, National Fire Academy, and the U.S. Fire Administration
  • Married with two children, Director Anderson is an active member of the Breath of Life Christian Center Church - Raleigh
