It is scheduled for 24 weeks, Fire and EMT.  Some new classes they are working on are: open area search and a live fire high rise drill in an acquired structure .   Daily formation runs will start at 1 ½ miles and get longer (possibly as long as 5 or 6 miles towards the end of class.) There will be a PT test in the second week consisting of 1 ½ mile run (13 min or less),  sit-ups (>40 in 2 min),  push-ups (>40 in 2 min),  and a SCBA Drill that is similar to the combat challenge (5 min or less).  This test will be used repeatedly to measure improvement in conditioning during recruit training.
