JANEAL ELVARKO WILLIAMS, 35, of Memphis, died (Sunset) Sunday, November 18, 2007 in an accident on I-240. Family visitation will be on Friday, November 23 from 4-6 p.m. with a Service beginning at 6 p.m. at Middle Baptist Church in Whitehaven. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24 at Antioch Baptist Church in Whiteville, TN, beginning at 11 a.m. The remains will lie instate at the church from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Janeal Williams was born (Sunrise) January 8, 1972 in Jackson, Tennessee to Mr. Jesse Eugene and the late Mrs. Earlean Williams. He was the second born of three children. “Varko” graduated from Bolivar Central High in 1990 and was accepted to Arkansas State University on a full football scholarship. He graduated with a B.S. in Business and Hospital Administration in 1994. After graduation, Varko began working for Internal Revenue Service as a Data Transcriber. In 1997 he was selected as a candidate to the Firefighter Academy where he successfully became a Firefighter for the City of Memphis. In 1998 he successfully completed the requirements for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and held this position where he bravely put his life on the line daily to save others until his last day. To precede him in death
was one child, Jessica Eugenia; and his mother, Earlean Williams. Varko
leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Regina Williams; his
father, Jesse Eugene Williams of Bolivar, TN; one brother, JaSanto
(Charlotte) Williams, and sister, JaMeko Williams, both of Memphis, TN;
his grandmothers, Mable Woods and Lucille Williams, both of Bolivar, TN,
and Juanita Williams of Dallas, TX; a father and mother-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Ellison of Toone, TN; three sisters-in-law, Sherry Ellison of
Memphis, TN, Pamela Mitchell of Jackson, TN, and Charlotte (Kim) Taylor of
Bolivar, TN; five nephews, Harrison and Jordan Williams and JaMario
Ellison, all of Memphis, TN, Kim and Jamarious Taylor of Bolivar, TN; two
nieces, Robin Mitchell and Victoria Ellison, both of Jackson, TN; and a
host of uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends. Dixie Funeral Home
