AP NEWS RELEASE - October
11, 2006 The 49 year old Lieutenant brushed death while attempting a daring balancing act on what seemed like miles above the structure to the 4' 7" firefighter. As the firefighter
battled the blaze he performed a maneuver unlike anything ever seen by
his peers. This acrobatic feat nearly ended in tragedy when he slipped
and fell into a residential commode. When asked if they could
protect their leaders secret, the members of Engine Company 47-C
responded " Not Likely." |
